Certifying Your Device
Before deploying a Direct Connect integration to production, your hardware-software combination must pass CyoGate certification.
Certification Steps
- Complete sandbox testing — All required test cases must pass
- Submit test results — Document results and submit to CyoGate certification team
- Testing review — CyoGate may require additional testing with your hardware
- Certification approval — Receive written approval before production
- Production deployment — Update to production credentials
Required Test Cases
- EMV chip — sale, decline, fallback to swipe
- NFC/contactless — sale, decline
- Magnetic stripe — sale
- PIN debit
- Void and refund
- Network error handling and timeout recovery
- Partial approval handling
